The purpose of EAE is to support students who do not excel in conventional public school settings. We are free and accessible to everyone, providing each child with the chance to receive an excellent education at a school that prioritizes their individual needs, irrespective of their zip code, income, or ability level. Charter schools have the freedom to implement innovative teaching methods tailored to the needs of their students. In return for this added flexibility, charters are held to higher standards of accountability and transparency. Elite Academy of Excellence is a Type 2 Private School, authorized by BESE (Board of Elementary & Secondary Education).
The Florida Department of Education is responsible for the oversight of BESE-authorized charter schools. Elite Academy of Excellence has a board of directors which governs school finances, operations and administration.
The Florida Department of Education (FDOE) holds BESE-authorized private and charter schools accountable using the framework articulated in the School Performance Compact, which states the following performance expectations:
All students, regardless of background, need, or ability, are afforded an educational environment that provides them with opportunities for academic growth and achievement.
Schools enroll and serve all students through prioritizing equity in their enrollment and discipline policies and procedures.
All special student populations receive the services and support they need to ensure academic success in accordance with applicable law and policy.
Schools and governing boards responsibly follow all laws, policies, and contractual obligations.
Schools demonstrate strong financial practices resulting in fiscally viable and responsibly maintained institutions.

Since private schools have more freedom than traditional public schools when designing lesson plans, they often follow an accelerated curriculum. They may also offer a broader range of subjects than other public schools.
High academic standards: EAE is required to meet state academic standards as well as any standards laid out by FDOE and BESE. As a result, the academic performance of private schools often surpasses other types of schools.
Private schools are held to high academic, financial, and organizational standards and excel in personalized instruction by accommodating students from diverse backgrounds and teaching them in ways that suit their unique learning styles. When I had the vision to found Elite Academy of Excellence, I was not trying to build a school. I was trying to build hope. I had seen too many students fall through the cracks. Brilliant, capable learners who did not fit into the traditional mold. I wanted to prove that education could be done differently, that public school could feel personal, that teachers could feel trusted, and that learning could be built around the human at the center of it all.
As an educator with over 35 plus years of experience and, with a small team who believed in the vision, started this school with no promises, only faith and determination. Together, we are building Elite from a small office in Florida (Miami Dade) and we hope to become a distinguished and thriving educational institutions in Miami Dade County (Florida).
Elite will also be a place where students rediscover belief in themselves. Learners who once felt forgotten find purpose and success. Elite will prove that when education is personal, flexible, and centered on human potential, every learner can thrive.
The courage that built Elite still lives within its community. That same spirit will continue through all phases of EAE which will captures the lasting impact of Elite’s model on student growth, teacher empowerment, and innovation. It is also the story I will always share in this community, a reflection on how courage, conviction, and compassion create real change.
